You've made a wise decision: you want a watering system for your garden.

So, we’ve created this website to explain to you some issues you need to think about when deciding exactly WHAT you want. You know there’s more to it than simply turning on a hose!

Going through the motions:

You have a choice: do it yourself, or get it done. There’s no doubt that a well laid out sprinkler system will cost more, initially. Let’s put it into perspective.

Anyone can go to a hardware store and buy the components.

Anyone can take them home, hook them up to a tap and turn it on.

This exercise will get you “some sprinklers in your yard”. You’ll see water coming out of the nozzles.

But enjoying a good result with this approach is unlikely.

Seeing water thrown around doesn’t mean your plants or your lawn are getting the CORRECT amount of water.

Many people have a sprinkler system they never use - Why? because it doesn’t work properly.

Worth doing properly from the start:
Our experience of drought and plummeting water levels in dams has given us all a wake-up call about smarter use of water.

Controlling this precious and valuable resource is so easy by directing the water correctly.

Having a sprinkler system gives you peace-of-mind that your garden is being watered correctly and systematically, even when you’re away on holidays. It will also help to enhance your biggest investment - your home. To sum up—doing it right the first time will save you time and hassles, and bring good results: plants that thrive!

Basic rules:
Do your Bucket Test to determine how much water is available for use. Do not exceed your Useable Flowrate.
You will not be able to water your whole yard in one go with the water from one small pipe. Your system will therefore have to be broken down into zones.
Adhere to the Head to Head style of sprinkler layout.
Do not mix different sprinkler styles within a zone.
Do not exceed the Flowrate Capabilities of the pipe size that you will be using.

How we can help you
How a watering system tailored for YOUR garden brings you so many benefits:

PROTECTION: It protects your costly investment in landscaping.
SETS YOU FREE: It saves you time because you’re not standing around holding a hose.
SOAKS IN: Your watering system can be activated at a time of low evaporation, e.g. night time or dawn, when you have other things to do.
SET AND FORGET: If your system incorporates a timer or is computerised, it saves you having to remember to water your garden.
COST-EFFICIENT: It saves you money. A good watering system will deliver the correct amount of water that your plants need. Neither too little (so that plants suffer) nor too much (so that you waste water)—with the ability to adjust for the different seasons.
LASTING ASSET: Unlike computers which become obsolete when you take them out of their box, a good watering system is for keeps.
